Relational Coordination to Rekindle, Reconnect, and Strengthen Relationships
Relational Coordination to Rekindle, Reconnect, and Strengthen Relationships
Aim: This one-hour workshop is designed to learn about and practice the seven dimensions of relational coordination to rekindle the head, heart and hand of oneself, relationships with colleagues and citizens at work and at home. The workshop will explore:
- Moving from “transactional relationships” to empathic relationship centered relationships (Schein).
- Improving communication that is frequent, timely, accurate, and problem-solving to develop relationships with shared goals, shared knowledge, and mutual respect.
The workshop will include relational coordination information, relational coordination mapping and discussion of a case study with relational coordination survey results in break out rooms. The discussion will include transforming cultures of microsystems who work together as a mesosystem to transition people with CF to Lung Transplant programs. The mesosystem process of care is coproduced from the “inside out” with caregivers and patients using feedback systems.
