Being a collaborative leader in a virtual world

Being a collaborative leader in a virtual world

Over the past twelve months, much of our leadership role has become a virtual role. However, in terms of the ways we connect and collaborate virtually, we are at an early stage of maturity. In this session, we will look at the practices of those organisations that have reached a high level of maturity in virtual collaboration and the benefits they have achieved. We will consider the path to amplify our own capabilities in virtual collaboration and how we can use virtual leadership to work more effectively in teams, increase diversity, make better quality decisions and get better, quicker improvement outcomes. We will share our learning through case studies from using virtual collaboration methods for improvement with thousands of frontline staff and patients across the English National Health Service.
